About 3.3 billion people are active mobile phone users around the world. To put that number into perspective, it is almost treble the number of people with Internet connections. A conference about mobile media opens in Kuala Lumpur July 24. It is mostly about how publishers can use mobiles to increase their audiences. But hopefully they will discuss the mojo concept: how to use the mobile as a journalism tool for reporting. The conference runs until July 25.
